About the event

Stop by and watch as the 7.8-foot-high king tide flows into the marine protected area. What areas are flooded? Where will the birds take shelter? Participate in community science and take photos to help document this tidal event for the CA King Tides Project.

 

Learn from local climate experts about what this flooding means for the future of Alameda’s shoreline.  Find out about the City of Alameda’s plans to adapt to Sea Level Rise, and how to participate in community resiliency efforts.
